2023 m. lapkričio 21 d. vakare Vilniaus oro uoste sulaukėme garbingų svečių – Hiracukos miesto (Japonija) mero p. Katsuhiro Ochiai su delegacija. Skambant Kauno „Saulės“ gimnazijos mokinių atliekamai lietuviškai dainai „Sveiki gyvi, sveteliai“, su rugine duona rankose svečius pasitiko Kauno švietimo inovacijų centro direktorė Rasa Bortkevičienė, „Saulės“ gimnazijos direktorė Sonata Drazdavičienė ir būrys „Saulės“ gimnazijos dainininkų.
Delegacija vizito programoje – daugybė susitikimų Vilniuje ir Kaune, o vizitą vainikuos Hiracukos ir Kauno susigiminiavimo sutarties pasirašymo ceremonija lapkričio 25 d., prieš pat Kauno kalėdinės eglės įžiebimo šventę.
Lithuanian songs for the official delegation of the Mayor of Hiratsuka at Vilnius airport
On the 21st November, we had a pleasure to welcome the distinguished guests – the official delegation of the Mayor of Hiratsuka (Japan) Mr. Katsuhiro Ochiai, at Vilnius airport. The guests were greeted with a gift – the Lithuanian song “Sveiki gyvi, sveteliai” (“Welcome, dear guests”) performed by the singers of Kaunas “Saulė“ gymnasium. With a loaf of the Lithuanian rye bread in the hands, the guests were met by the Director of Kaunas Center for Education Innovation Ms. Rasa Bortkevičienė, Director of “Saulė” gymnasium Ms. Sonata Drazdavičienė and a group of singers from “Saulė” gymnasium.
The programme of the delegation includes numerous official meetings in Vilnius and Kaunas and the ceremony of signing a Sister Cities Agreement with Kaunas on the 25th November, just before the festive event of the lightening of Kaunas Christmas tree.
