The purpose of career guidance is to help people choose the right education and employment options for them, to enable them to acquire career competences and to actively develop their careers, through career education, career information and career counselling.
Vocational guidance is carried out in accordance with the description of the procedure for the provision of vocational guidance, approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 2022. 24 August 847 “On Approval of the Description of the Procedure for Provision of Vocational Guidance”, and by the Director of Kaunas City Municipality in 2022. 4 November Order No. A-4134 “On the approval of the lists of educational institutions in Kaunas city, where the posts of career specialists will be financed”.
