Project application for “Growing up with a Fairy Tale” educational programme

Kaunas Teacher Qualification Centre has submitted a project application “Educational programme “Growing up with a fairy tale”” to the Lithuanian Council for Culture for evaluation. The aim of the project is to develop a personality aware of the importance of ethnic culture, to strengthen children’s national consciousness by familiarising them with Lithuanian folk tales, and to ensure the preservation, continuity and dissemination of ethnic culture. The project “Educational programme “Growing up with a fairy tale” aims to help preschool children participating in the educational programme to gain a clearer understanding of Lithuanian folk tales, to get acquainted with the values declared in fairy tales, to develop their imagination, to strengthen their abilities in the field of ethnic culture, and to foster their creative potential through the playful educational activities.
