15 April Kaunas City History Teachers’ Methodological Group organised a methodological event for history teachers “Working with SUP students in history lessons. ICT in inclusive education. Best practices”. The event was moderated by Lina Kostiukovienė, the chair of the Kaunas City History Teachers’ Methodological Group, an expert history teacher at Kaunas Kazis Grinius Progymnasium. Ignas Juškevičius, Senior History Teacher at Kaunas Kovo 11-osios Gymnasium, gave a presentation on “Working in a special needs classroom during history lessons: successes and failures” and shared his experience. At the methodological event, Kaunas Šančiai School Multifunctional Centre educational support specialists, speech and language therapist Reda Petrauskienė, special educator Sandra Gudunskienė and English language teacher Ingrida Pagrandienė presented ICT tools, applications and tools they use when working with students with special educational needs. The use of ICT in the educational process facilitates the individualisation and adaptation of education for pupils with special needs, and improves learning motivation. Laura
