On 3-5 April, the Kaunas Centre for Educational Innovation hosted a delegation from Cork College (Ireland) for a visit on “Best Practices in Kaunas City Schools: learning initiatives, the use of technology and the teacher’s voice in the classroom”.
The guests from Ireland met with Ms Ieva Vinciūnienė, Chief Specialist of the Foreign Relations Division of Kaunas City Administration. The visit included a visit to the growing city of Kaunas, the S. Darius and S. Girėnas Stadium, the Žalgiris Arena swimming pool, and a presentation of the city’s projects and employment opportunities for students.
During this short visit, the delegation from Cork College visited 4 schools in Kaunas city – the guests took part in lessons, got acquainted with the educational process, had the opportunity to apply modern technologies, and share their valuable experience.
