Kaunas Education Innovation Centre together with project partners from Spain is implementing the Erasmus+ project “Improving the quality of foreign language teaching in non-formal adult education”.

Research has shown that learning languages boosts self-confidence, gives you a competitive edge in the job market, improves problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and improves concentration. In today’s world of technology and social media, these aspects are very important. Rapidly changing technologies, the fast pace of life and competition require not only the continuous development of digital literacy skills and other competences, but also the ability to communicate in a foreign language, especially English. By adopting the best practices and experience of foreign adult education centres in the field of language training, the Centre aims to respond to the need of adults for lifelong learning and the improvement of their foreign languages. competences, as well as exploring modern and attractive forms and methods of adult learning for teaching and learning in general and other areas. to develop competences.

The direct target group of the project is adults working in an educational institution. The project runs from 2023 to 2024. Project duration – 13 months.
