2021 m. April. Kaunas Santaros Gymnasium in cooperation with Kaunas Teacher Qualification Centre organised the “I Save” comic competition for Kaunas general education schools in grades 5-8, 9-10 (I-II), where students from grades 1 to 2 (economics and information technology) participated in a comic competition .
29 students from 11 schools registered for the competition. The students’ work showed the importance of saving money and why it is important to be responsible with money. The aim of the competition is to stimulate students’ and teachers’ interest in personal finance and planning, to teach them how to manage their money rationally, to highlight the importance of saving, and to develop their creativity through the use of information technology.
The winners will be announced on 21 May. 14.30. The Economics and Business Olympiad, the winners of the economics competitions, will be awarded at a televised event.
