2021 m. May 18 d., 15:34

Kaunas Centre for Teacher Qualification actively participated in Scandinavian Days 2021. events. 14 May Students of Kaunas Jonas and Petras Vileišius School, grades 7-8, together with Gediminas Grēsius, a geography and history teacher, embarked on a virtual trip to Scandinavia. Travelling through Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland, students learn about the countries’ geographical location, language differences and populations. During the trip, students sang the world’s heaviest karaoke (in Icelandic), admired the Northern Lights in Iceland, visited the Kjerag Stone in Norway and other famous landmarks. The cooperation lesson was attended by a large number of students and teachers from all over Lithuania, as well as a guest from Norway, who gave a short presentation about his country.

We would like to thank Gediminas Grėsis, the geography and history teacher at Kaunas Jonas and Petras Vileišiai School, for a useful, engaging and adventurous lesson that not only broadened the knowledge of the 7-8 grade students, but also gave them the opportunity to travel the world virtually.
